Hey John, I followed your lead ad went to PubMatch.com. I'm always interested in new ways to promote my book Living in the Heartland: Three Extraordinary Women's Stories. I registered, and listed my book with them on the long-shot chance that the service might provide some benefit. In the first 24 hours I've had one contact. It was from a company that wanted hundreds of dollars to list my book on the Internet. You'll be one of the first people I tell if this is a worthwhile site, but for now it looks like a site for those selling to find potential buyers.

Hi Pam,
Thanks for your input RE this firm. Of course the contacts it generates will be selling some product/s relating to book publication and marketing; some may be worthwhile and some NOT...Depends on where you are in the process. You are already pretty far along and, I think, are just in need of a good book publicity/marketing firm that can get you on some shows and into the distribution chain to bookstores...Btw, are you working with anyone now or have you hired a pub firm previously?

Thanks for helping me track the worthiness of PubMatch...
John
